Cape Council retains afternoon meeting time
Cape Coral City Council will continue to hold its voting meetings in the late afternoon. A bid to change regular meetings from 4:30 p.m. to 9 a.m. failed Wednesday after Council deadlocked 4-4 on the proposal. “I want to point out we have a list of all the municipalities and counties that have a 9 o’clock meeting. The majority of our peers do a 9 o'clock. My intention is not to hamper public participation. Hopefully we can move this forward,” said Councilmember Jessica Cosden, who brought the discussion forward.
