Ellen Elizabeth Neely weds Joshua Thomas Hinkle
Ellen Elizabeth Neely and Joshua Thomas Hinkle were united in marriage on April 30, 2016, at the Historic Springdale House and Gardens in Columbia, S.C. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Ralph Schneck. A reception immediately followed.
The bride is the daughter of John and Rebecca Neely of Lexington, S.C. Ellen is the granddaughter of William and Ann Neely of Lexington, S.C., and the late Esther Coker Orr of Lexington and the late John Orr of Hot Springs, Ark. She is a graduate of Lexington High School and the University of South Carolina where she received a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is currently an orthopedic registered nurse at Palmetto Health and is also a dance choreographer and instructor.
The groom is the son of Thomas and Roberta Hinkle of Cape Coral. He is the grandson of Dr. G. Thomas and Carolyn Hinkle, and the late Robert and Lorraine Quinn. He is a graduate of Bishop Verot High School and Florida Institute of Technology where he received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. He is a field engineer/supervisor at Southern Nuclear.
Brook Spence served as matron of honor, Rachel Duecker served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Britt Metz, Jamie Spillers and Becca Kinney. Honorary bridesmaids were Kari Folwer, Katie Graves, Cadey Keigans and Tori Schneider. Flower girls were Elizabeth Canepa, Isabella Canepa and Trinity Malone.
Wagon babies were Landry Hinkle, Sonny Keigans, Selah Kinney and Ava Spence.
Brock Rasmussen served as best man. Groomsmen were Dylan Hinkle, Drew Reeves, Alex Hinebaugh and Chad Cypher. David Neely, brother of the bride, was the worship leader and the ring bearers were Liam Schneider, Xander Stamper and Camden Spence.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Chapin, S.C.
