Michael and Cindy Proia of Cape Coral announce the marriage of their daughter, Angela Nicole Proia, to Raul Omar Garcia on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011. The wedding and reception were held at The Forest in south Fort Myers.

The bridesmaids wore persimmon-colored dresses and the groomsmen wore dark brown tuxedos.

Kristina Proia, sister of the bride, was maid of honor while Casey Green, best friend of the groom, was his best man.

Angela graduated from the University of South Florida in 2008, with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and currently works as a first grade teacher at Sulfur Springs Elementary School in Tampa. Raul graduated from the University of South Florida in 2010 with his master’s degree in educational leadership and is a behavior specialist at Sulfur Springs Elementary School in Tampa.

The couple will live in Riverview, Fla.
