On Dec. 29, 2009, at 5 p.m., Jay Bechtel and Lindsey Lanham exchanged vows on the beach.

The couple, family and friends traveled from Kentucky especially for the wedding. Lindsey was escorted down the beach to the podium by her father to live music performed by Lillian Layton, violinist.

The sunset beach wedding was enhanced by the decorated arch, white podium with flowers, candelabra and silver ring figurines. The reception immediately followed at the Holiday Inn on Fort Myers Beach.

Lee Flowers, ministerial, notary, officiant/wedding planner and owner of A Amore Weddings in Cape Coral, performed the ceremony and provided ceremony accessories.

Professional photographer Pete Fournier, with a studio in Fort Myers, took photos of the ceremony.
