Army Pfc. Corey A. Kent
Army Pfc. Corey A. Kent graduated from the Field Artillery Automated Tactical Systems Specialist Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
As members of the Army’s field artillery team, the course is designed to train soldiers to establish, maintain and operate communication systems and assist in preparation of computer center operations, prepare field artillery tactical data systems for operation to include cabling, installation, and removal procedures, and input data and data base information to field artillery tactical data systems. Skills training included methods of computing target locations using computers or manual calculations, ammunition handling techniques, gun, missile and rocket system operations, and artillery tactics.
Kent is the son of Tiffany A. Ashby of Cape Coral.
The private is a 2006 graduate of Mariner High School, Cape Coral.
