Arroyo graduates from Tufts University

MEDFORD, Mass. — Approximately 3,275 students across all schools graduated from Tufts University on May 22 during a university-wide commencement ceremony.

Jocelyn Arroyo of Cape Coral graduated with a bachelor of arts in community health from Tufts University.

Fry receives 2021-22 Dean’s List honors from University of Northern Colorado

GREELEY, Colo. – Over 1,800 students have been named to the 2021-22 Dean’s List at the University of Northern Colorado.

Among the students named to the Dean’s List of Academic Distinction was Stephanie Fry of Cape Coral. Students who received this distinction earned a combined GPA of 3.75 or higher during at least two academic semesters and completed a minimum of 24 semester hours.

The University of Northern Colorado is a public doctoral research university offering 100 undergraduate programs and 113 graduate programs.

Silverman named to Dean’s List at Manchester University

NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – At the end of each semester, the Office of Academic Affairs at Manchester University publishes the Dean’s List.

Dylan Silverman of Cape Coral was named to the Spring 2022 Dean’s List.

Silverman, who is majoring in business management, was among 346 students named to the Spring 2022 Dean’s List.

Students earning a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher who have completed at least 12 semester hours with no more than three hours of Pass/Not Pass grades are included on the Dean’s List. Students with more than one hour of Incomplete or Not Recorded grades at the end of the semester are not eligible for the Dean’s List.

Peterson named FSW admissions director

FORT MYERS — Florida South-Western State College has welcomed Kathy Peterson as its new director of admissions.

Peterson comes to FSW from Florida Gulf Coast University where she served in various roles since 1997. Most recently, Peterson served as senior associate athletics director for Student-Athlete Services/ Senior Woman Administrator.

Prior to that, she served as assistant athletics director for Compliance/Senior Woman Administrator; interim director of Undergraduate Admissions; associate director of Undergraduate Admissions; and coordinator, Transfer Articulation at FGCU.

Peterson received her MBA from Florida State University and her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida.
