Eagle Skate Park offers skateboarders opportunity to shine

Officially dedicated in January 2006, Eagle Skate Park features ramps and boxes and plenty of space catering to skateboarders of all ages.
The park, which is next door to the William “Bill” Austen Youth Center, has averaged between 60 to 100 skateboarders per day since its opening. Bicyclists may also use the facilities. Hours of operation are 3 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 3 to 10 p.m. on Friday; 12 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 12 to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Bikers can use the facilities from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
