Fresh off a dramatic 3-2 victory over Sarasota Paradise, FC Naples will fight for the final spot in the USL League One playoffs this Saturday night when it hosts Spokane Velocity FC at Paradise Coast Sports Complex. Fans are encouraged to pack the stands in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Night presented by LMCU.
FC Naples earned its shot at the postseason the hard way Wednesday night at Sarasota Paradise. After the hosts opened the scoring in the 35th minute, #24 Ty Collins headed home a cross from #11 Christopher Garcia off a corner kick just four minutes later. #14 Kevin O’Connor put Naples in front with a left-footed free kick in the 61st minute. Sarasota Paradise equalized in the first minute of stoppage time, but Naples answered once more. In the sixth minute of stoppage time, #4 Hal Uderitz headed home a set piece from #21 Marc Torrellas to seal the 3-2 win.
Saturday’s match is the club’s 2026 regular-season home finale, and it could be the most important night of the year. FC Naples arrives in the middle of a historic run, riding a five-game winning streak and a seven-game unbeaten streak. FC Naples and Fort Wayne FC are separated by just two points in the standings, and both clubs play Saturday night with the final USL League One playoff spot on the line.
With a playoff berth hanging in the balance, a stadium full of pink and the roar of Southwest Florida fans can give FC Naples the edge it needs when it matters most. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Tickets are available online at fcnaples.com/tickets, and supporters are encouraged to arrive early to experience the full matchday atmosphere.
