FORT MYERS – The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels doubleheader against the Bradenton Marauders was canceled after 2 1/2 innings were played Sunday at Lee Health Sports Complex.

The Mussels’ conclude the home portion of their 2026 season with a 35-26 record at Lee Health Sports Complex, the best mark of the Mussels’ era (since 2020). The team went 15-9 in August and 9-3 at home this month, the best win total of the season at home.

Today’s scheduled doubleheader was adjusted to a singular nine-inning contest after a nearly 2-hour weather delay to begin the afternoon.

With Bradenton leading 3-0 in the bottom of the third inning, the contest went into a second weather delay and was ultimately canceled after another hour-long delay. Neither game will be made up and the Mussels final three home games of the campaign were all washed out, bringing the season total to four cancellations, all of which have come at home. It is the third consecutive home finale to be rained out.
