Fans of DUNK CITY won’t have to go far to see their Eagles Thanksgiving week. FGCU will be part of the Fort Myers Tip-Off on Nov. 23 and 25 at Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College.

FGCU headlines a division made up of Charlotte, Davidson, Georgia State, Northern Iowa and Tulane. First up for the Eagles will be Charlotte on Monday, Nov. 23 at 1:30 p.m. before FGCU faces Georgia State on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 4 p.m.

The men’s Beach Division of the Tip-Off will feature Purdue, Oklahoma, DePaul and Pitt.

In the women’s side of the tournament, the Island Division features LSU, North Carolina State, Kansas State and Villanova. The Shell Division includes TCU, Indiana, Mississippi State and Georgia Tech.

This will be the fourth time FGCU is competing in the Fort Myers Tip-Off (which previously was called the Gulf Coast Showcase). The Eagles are 6-3 all-time in the tournament with previous appearances in 2014, 2018 and 2022. This will be the first time FGCU will face Charlotte or Georgia State on the hardwood.

Ticket prices, sales and availability will be announced at a later date.

The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village and the Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa will serve as the host hotels for the teams of the Fort Myers Tip-Off, allowing fans to stay where the teams stay and experience resort life to the fullest.
