Fort Myers Roller Derby takes on Bradentucky Bombers Saturday at The Skatium
Fort Myers Roller Derby is gearing up for another home bout. Join the club this Saturday, Aug. 8, as Fort Myers Roller Derby takes on Bradentucky Bombers in a back-to-school-themed showdown at the Fort Myers Skatium.
This special bout also supports Southwest Florida schools, so the team encourages fans to bring donations of school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, folders, binders and paper to help local students start the school year strong.
The game will be held at the Fort Myers Skatium, at 2250 Broadway in Fort Myers. Doors open at 5 p.m. for presale ticket holders, 5:30 p.m. for door sales. The game starts at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $12 in advance at events.com or purchase tickets at the door starting at $15 for adults, $5 for ages 5-10, and ages 4 and under are admitted for free.
Fort Myers Roller Derby, Inc. is a grassroots organization that is composed of dedicated athletes, ages 18 and up, from Southwest Florida, who play the sport of roller derby. Fort Myers Roller Derby follows the rules set forth by the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association.
