Charlotte 20, Mariner 15: A 15-point fourth-quarter rally wasn’t enough for the Tritons as a brief lead vanished in the game’s final minutes. Tritons quarterback Owen O’Leary connected with Steven Leon Carter Jr. on TD passes of 31 and 38 yards for Mariner (2-5, 0-2 District 5A-10), while a high Tarpons punt snap resulted in a safety. North Fort Myers 42, East Lee County 10: The Red Knights built up a 42-0 lead through three quarters. North (4-3, 2-0) faces Dunbar next week before taking on Riverdale (6-1, 2-0) for the District 5A-13 title.

Cypress Lake 52, Island Coast 7: The Panthers (5-3) moved to 2-0 in District 3A-13, while the Gators fell to 0-8, 0-2.

Glades Central 14, Bishop Verot 12: Two-team District 2A-10 went to Glades Central (7-0, 1-0) as the Vikings came up short in a defensive struggle.
