Perfect Game’s 10th annual 14U Select Festival to be held at JetBlue Park this weekend
Youth baseball event starts Friday
Perfect Game, a youth baseball and softball platform and scouting service, has announced details for its 10th annual 14U Select Festival, taking place Aug. 29-31 at JetBlue Park, the Spring Training home of the Boston Red Sox. The event annually showcases the nation’s top-ranked 14U baseball players, giving fans a first look at the next generation of amateur talent.
Highlighting this year’s festival will be the participation of two special guest coaches: 3-time MLB All-Star pitcher Tom “Flash” Gordon and World Series-winning manager Charlie Manuel, the winningest skipper in Philadelphia Phillies history. Both bring decades of experience from the highest level of the game and will mentor and inspire the athletes
throughout the weekend.
The Select Festival is more than just an all-star event. Each year, Perfect Game athletes and coaches dedicate time to community outreach, and in 2025 the tradition continues with a visit to Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida Friday from 2-3:30 p.m. Players will spend time with young patients and families, spreading encouragement and hope off the field.
On Saturday, team practices/scrimmages will run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at JetBlue Park.
Then on Sunday, 14U Select Fest games will be played from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at JetBlue Park.
“Reaching our 10th year of the 14U Select Festival is a tremendous milestone,” said Jheremy Brown, director of 13U and 14U Select Festivals. “This event not only celebrates the incredible talent of these young athletes but also reinforces the importance of giving back to the community. We are proud to partner with MLB greats like Flash Gordon and Charlie Manuel to
provide a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone involved.”
Since its inception, four 14U Select Fest alumni have made their MLB debuts: Dylan Crews, Victor Mederos, Jordan Lawlar and Carlos Rodriguez.
As in past years, the 14U Select Fest games will be broadcast live on PerfectGame.TV and the free PGTV app. Veteran baseball broadcaster Daron Sutton will be on the call alongside Dani Wexelman with dugout reporter Hannah Jo Groves providing in-game insights and interviews.
