Tanner Goff

Sophomore

Baseball

Oasis Sharks

Goff was stellar on the mound for the Sharks in a 9-1 win over Golden Gate, striking out 11 batters, allowing just two hits, and not yielding an earned run over six innings. He holds a 3.45 ERA over 10 appearances this year, with 31 total strikeouts in 22 1/3 innings.

“I felt confident, handled business, and took over on the mound. I hope to continue my dominance, while gaining more control of my off-speed pitches.”

Abigail Cudnik

Junior

Lacrosse

Cape Coral Seahawks

The Seahawks’ leading scorer helped lead the team to an 18-3 District win over Cypress Lake, netting five goals and adding three assists. The junior played through two meniscus tears in the outstanding effort.

“I’m incredibly proud of the effort that our team put forth. It was the final game I played this season, and I feel it was a testament to my dedication to this sport. I’ve played for nearly 10 years and dealt with my fair share of injuries because of it. I was playing through two tears to my meniscus, and I am so proud of the effort I put forth despite it. The Cypress game tends to be a very physical game, and I think I, as well as my teammates, held out quite well against all that. It definitely was a bittersweet end to my junior year, but I’m really proud of myself that I went out there and continued to give it my all, even through an injury like that!”
