North Fort Myers Red Knights

The Red Knight’s leading goal-scorer turned in a hat-trick performance in a 7-0 win over Cape Coral last week. The senior also netted a goal in a close 3-2 loss to Lakewood Ranch.

“It feels great to be back on the field with my teammates this season for one last time. Even though my injury last year was tough, I am back and it feels like I didn’t skip a beat. I owe it all to my teammates for continuing to push me forward regardless. I believe that we have something that a lot of teams don’t have and that’s team chemistry on and off the field. We have been working so hard and are so excited to see what the future of the season holds for us.”

Curry was the Gators’ leading scorer over three games last week where they posted a 2-1 record, including an overtime win over Dunbar. The senior averaged 18.6 PPG over the three games, featuring a high of 25 in the OT win.

“I feel very confident in my ability to score the ball. However, I feel like I need to step up as leader for our team. I am working on my leadership skills and helping to institute the new culture that Coach Parks has brought to the team.”
