Athletes of the Week | Nov. 3
Justin Lewis
Senior
Football
Mariner Tritons
The senior playmaker continued to lead the high-powered Triton offense in a 50-34 win over Cape Coral in the annual Black and Blue Bowl. Lewis threw for four touchdowns, and ran for another, totaling 182 yards of offense.
“I went into the game just like any other, keeping a cool head and going out to get the job done. The offensive line really did the dirty work that game. Our offense rolls as they get better, and my job is easy getting the ball to our athletes who make plays.”

Tadarien Green

Cape Coral Seahawks
The junior wide-out made big play after big play for a Seahawk squad that fell to Mariner in the annual Black and Blue Bowl. Green had four total touchdowns on the night, including three receiving scores (110 rec. yards) and a 95-yard kickoff return.
“I felt like it was our time to prove to everyone that our offense can drive and make big plays just like everyone else. I felt like if anyone needed me the most, it would be my teammates, so I delivered the best I could for them.”
