Cape Coral Seahawks

Tedhams took home four LCEC titles at FGCU last week. He placed first in the 500-meter freestyle, 200-meter freestyle, and was on two medley-winning teams. He also performed well the previous week at the Florida Swimming Pool Association meet.

“In the past week I have felt my hard work has paid off and I’ve been feeling confident about my swims. My coaches, family, and teammates have helped me get to where I am this season. I hope to continue on this path to better myself and continue to pursue my season goal of medaling at state, while pushing others towards their goals.”

Ida Baker Bulldogs

The senior leader for the Bulldogs performed well over three games for the club last week, totaling 31 kills, six aces, and 67 digs. She leads the team this year in kills, digs, and hitting percentage.

“My timing has been better on my hitting, and I’ve been serving more aggressively. As a team, we need to be confident in our serve receiving and quicker on defense. We’re young, so it’s important for us to pick each other up and give our best effort consistently throughout the match.”
