Cape Coral Seahawks

Newson dazzled during the Nature Coast Tournament, helping the Seahawks to a consolation bracket final victory. He was named to the all-tournament team and averaged 23.6 PPG, 6 RPG, 3 APG, and 3.3 steals over three contests.

The young stand-out helped his team take home the Sarasota Christian Holiday Tournament championship and was named tournament most valuable player. Over two games, Felix averaged 14 PPG and totaled six blocked shots.

“While on the court, I felt very confident that our team was going to win. Everyone was playing their role, and I think the team is playing very well as a whole.”
