Harrah took home the FHSAA District 1 Region 3 Championship at 138 pounds and will compete in the State Championships this weekend.

“I think it’s always awesome to turn a goal into reality. I’ve got to just keep on putting in the work and get ready for states. I wanted to wrestle calm, confident and calculated — work aggressive and give no free points.”

Quintanilla assisted on the first and scored the second in the Tritons 2-0 victory over Naples in the FHSAA 5A girls soccer State Championship match, helping secure the first state title for a Mariner girls team in school history.

“It’s crazy to think we’re state champions — the first in school history — and the last team standing this year. The group of girls we have this year are like a family.”
