Tejera recorded three 20-point games including two double-doubles for Bishop Verot who collected two overtime wins in a tournament at Daytona Beach. The senior amassed 64 points, 37 rebounds, seven assists and four steals over the stretch.

“I was all about having fun on our trip, so on the court I felt really relaxed and attacked the basket. I played without fear and was able to go out and play my game and be opportunistic.”

Ingram turned in three shutout performances last week for the Tritons’ girls soccer team (12 saves total), including a five-save game in a 1-0 victory over Sickles (Tampa) in wet and muddy conditions.

“I try and play smart, and I try and play quick. If you’re smart about what you do, then you’re going to save anything that comes your way.”
