Delay fools no one
To the editor:
What a coincidence that when the Lee County commissioners realized that they were going against the will of the people by removing the assorted land use plans our communities have in place….. that they tabled it until AFTER the election.
Huh! So, they realized they were in jeopardy of losing their precious positions because they are against what the voters might reflect in the coming election.
The back room conversation was probably something like - let’s wait until we get re-elected and then nobody can do anything about our dirty dealings!
Well, I for one am going to take a list of the current commissioners into the voting booth and vote for anyone but a sitting commissioner. We KNOW the current ones don’t care about us. Why not take a chance on somebody new?
