An endorsement of Chris Vignieri
To the editor:
During some of the most important and emotionally difficult seasons of our lives, the people who stand beside us can make a lasting difference. For our family, Chris Vignieri was one of those people.
Chris represented our family through our adoption journey, helping us navigate a process that would shape the futures of our children. As foster parents, we brought experiences and insights that we hoped would be understood and considered. At times, navigating “the system” left us feeling that our voices weren’t fully heard. Chris made a point of listening, treating our perspective with respect, and taking our concerns seriously while keeping the children’s best interests at the center of his work.
I remember meeting with him before a court date and being impressed by how thoroughly he had prepared. He had already reviewed and researched all the documentation I had provided, understood our concerns, and was ready to act. When it became clear that the court process would take longer than expected, Chris spoke up in court, offering a voice of reason and experience. He helped expedite matters when our family needed it most.
Chris combined professionalism and thoroughness with genuine compassion. He followed through on his commitments and made time to get things done, even when it wasn’t convenient. We knew we could count on him. Our experience gave us a firsthand look at his integrity, judgment, and commitment to the people he serves. I am proud to endorse Chris Vignieri for Lee County Supervisor of Elections and believe these qualities are valuable in public service.
Our family will always be grateful for the role he played in our adoption journey, and I gladly offer him my support.
