Double standards?
To the editor:
Maybe I am a little naive, but isn’t there a lot of “the pot calling the kettle black” when it comes to the Cape Coral political mudslinging?
Let’s start with the attacks on Mayor Gunter’s past criminal record. Why is it OK to criticize him for that, but in the same breath praise Councilmember Kuduk for her current alleged criminal actions? And it’s OK to gloss over her past (because you like her) but slam the mayor because you don’t like him!
I’m not inclined to vote for either… however the hypocrisy is a joke!
As for registering his boat out of state, look around, I would bet hundreds of boats here in Cape Coral are registered in other states! So are many cars! Look at the license plates on the cars parked in the driveways!
There are other candidates who are now going back and forth on their past criminal behavior — and it is becoming distracting!
We have very serious issues going on here in Cape Coral. Let’s try to hear more about how they are going to be addressed as opposed to the continuous attacks. It’s a waste of your God-given breath…
