Disappearing political signs
To the editor:
Why have Richard LEON signs been disappearing from the public view? Who is responsible for the sign removal?
These signs provided a public service to alert voters of a talented mayoral candidate.
These signs are real plywood and constructed to high wind conditions by an aircraft engineer. Well maybe some folks just needed the wood to board up their windows for hurricane preparations.
Whatever the mystery, I hope these signs are given the proper display (over the fireplace, or the bedside) because they are true works of art by a local artist.
