Let the truth prevail

To the editor:

The world of truth often seems elusive and deception is often seen as a usual occurrence. You can’t lie to God, to the Congress, to police officers, to federal investigators, to law enforcement during an investigation, to anyone under oath in a court of law, to the board of immigration officials, to the 911 operator, to medical professionals or to therapists.

Political figures stand in front of cameras with their smiles wide, promoting change and progress while under the surface their intention is greed and ambition.

They repeat falsehoods that seem to resonate with the public who are desperate for hope.

What is the power of truth? The power of truth has the ability to build unshakeable trust, bring clarity and provide freedom from the mental burden of deceit.

Lies dismiss voices, manipulate the media and the erosion of truth in our everyday life.

I support independent journalism, I support the empowered people who seek the truth as our democracy is clouded by chaos and confusion.

Be a symbol of hope, vote for political candidates who are truthful, vigilant, courageous and committed to the truth, fact check and report data supported by credible and reliable journalists and who question everything.

Vote, vote, vote by mail and be an active participant in voting.
