Vote your pocketbook
To the editor:
If decreasing unemployment is your goal, why not throw your support behind the Republicans? They absolutely love giving tax cuts and breaks to corporations — because who wouldn’t want businesses to just pack up and move to places with cheap labor?
It’s totally fair to keep minimum wage stagnant so entry-level workers can cozy up at home instead of buying houses or starting families. What a dream!
So, if that sounds wonderful to you, then yes, vote Republican! Who doesn’t want the rich to get richer while everyday folks survive on crumbs?
