Lack of input result of lack of listening
To the editor:
The city council has again asked for input on what to do with the old Cape Coral Country Club. Councilmember Nelson-Lastra commented that out of a city of 220,000 citizens, only 800 answered the call for input.
The point is, would the council and city manager listen to the people? Did they listen to the voters and citizens about the Yacht Club or Jaycee Park? No. How many times will you think you can fool all the people all of the time, Council?
Do not forget, Council, the several hundred million dollar higher-than-announced costs like your other projects.
