Thank you for your primary votes

To the editor:

I would like to thank the voters for the wonderful support I received in the Primary. Perhaps my 33 years in the Cape and desire to serve was what caused my win.

While this is meant as a thank you letter, I would also like to address a letter in last week’s Breeze. Ms. Golling stated erroneously that only three candidates have stated that the city should not own LCEC. In August I paid for an ad in Senior Life the last line of which reads “MOST IMPORTANT-KEEP LCEC AS OUR ELECTRICITY PROVIDER.” In addition, at the City Forum on Sept. 3, I was asked the question…should the city take over as the electricity provider, to which I said “no.” That is not sitting on the fence. When supporting the candidate of your choice, it is important to stick to facts. Mine are verifiable.
