Kathleen “Cappy” Boos
Our beloved mother Kathleen “Cappy” Boos passed away peacefully on March 21st at the age of 88. To say she will be missed is an understatement.
Cappy was born to Catherine “Kitty” and Lawrence “Pop” Reilly on July 30, 1937.
After graduating from City House in St. Louis, she met her husband Bill Boos (deceased) and they had 5 children. Kitty Plagge (Greg), Bill Boos Jr (Sarah), Michael Boos (deceased) Mary Goodman (Ben deceased) and Danny Boos (Teri). Cappy is survived by her sister, Sister Mary Patricia Reilly of Franklin Wisconsin.
With determination and strength Cappy went to Webster University in St Louis and received a masters in arts of teaching and a doctoral candidate in Behavioral and Developmental Processes. She used these skills to teach children with autism for 28 years. She retired at 60 and moved to Cape Coral to enjoy the beach and sand. Her 10 grandchildren and 12 Great grandchildren loved to visit Cappy and came yearly. In her 88 years she never spoke a cruel word, she truly loved everyone. And everyone loved to be around her. Her funeral services will be held in St. Louis.
