Voting for Best of Cape Coral begins today
It’s time to decide who Cape Coral thinks is the best of the best.
Starting this weekend, residents will be able to cast their ballots for the Breeze Newspapers’ annual “Best Of” series highlighting Cape Coral businesses.
The Best of Cape Coral, a reader’s choice program sponsored by The Breeze, features more than 200 categories for members of the community to show support for their favorite and highly-recommended local businesses.
Voting will be open on Friday and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 2. Individuals can vote one time each day per category. There also will be an official ballot guide in today’s Cape Coral Breeze, where voters can fill out the ballots and return them to any business listed in the guide, or at the Cape Coral Breeze Office at 2510 Del Prado Blvd. S.
“The popularity of this contest is a tribute to the diversity and vitality of the Cape’s business owners and also the long-term strength of The Breeze’s brand in this market,” said Breeze Newspapers Publisher Ray Eckenrode. “There are many ‘best ofs’ out there, but none carry with them the prestige of winning our contest.”
After the votes are tallied, winners will be announced in an October edition of The Breeze, and recognized at a special event shortly thereafter. All winners will be contacted with details following the voting period.
