Ribbon cutting for Festival Park scheduled for Friday, Aug. 14
Residents and community members are invited to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the city of Cape Coral’s Festival Park.
The celebration will take place on Friday, Aug. 14, at 9 a.m. on the park grounds at 1030 N.W. 28th St.
No reservations are required to attend.
Festival Park, a $17 million project, will provide residents with multi-use sports fields and grounds for large events.
Other amenities will include a concessions and restroom building and electrical infrastructure for a future amphitheater.
“City officials will participate in the ribbon cutting, and attendees are encouraged to join in celebrating this new addition to Cape Coral’s parks system,” city officials said.
