Sun Splash Family Waterpark offers discount for school supplies donations
Southwest Florida’s largest waterpark is offering a discounted admission rate for attendees who bring supplies for local kids heading back to school.
Sun Splash Family Waterpark is turning summer fun into classroom support with its annual Back-to-School Supply Drive, benefiting the Cape Coral Caring Center. From July 27 through Aug. 11, guests can help stock local classrooms while enjoying refreshing waterpark adventures with a discounted admission ticket.
“We are proud to partner with Cape Coral Caring Center to ensure our local students have the tools they need to succeed,” said Eric Reed, general manager of Sun Splash Family Waterpark. “This drive is more than just about collecting supplies — it’s about our community coming together to support our kids. We hope families will join us, make a splash, and make a difference all at the same time.”
To receive the discount, attendees must bring five school supply items from the approved wish list per person to receive a $10 daily admission ticket, valid for one-day entry any operating day in August.

To ensure maximum impact, Sun Splash and Cape Coral Caring Center request donations from the following commonly needed items:
• Box of pencils
• Box of pens
• Notebook paper (wide-ruled 100-count)
• Bottle of glue
• Index cards
• 3-ring binders
• Markers (10-count)
• 24-Count Crayon box
• Folders (10-count)
• Backpacks
Reed called the annual initiative a “win-win” for the park and patrons.
“Park guests can help local students and earn a discounted family day at the park,” he said. “As Southwest Florida’s largest waterpark, Sun Splash offers the most slides, a lazy river, a brand new wave pool, and kids’ areas-making it the top spot to cool off and have fun during peak summer heat.”
Cape Coral Caring Center is a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting families, students, and individuals in need throughout the Cape Coral community. Donations collected through the drive will directly assist students who lack access to essential school supplies, helping ensure every child starts the school year prepared to succeed.
“Cape Coral Caring Center has been helping community members maintain a suitable standard of living since 1990 when they face economic strain due to unforeseen circumstances,” Reed said. “Sun Splash has hosted the School Supply Drive since 2022. By partnering with Cape Coral Caring Center, we get supplies directly to students who need them, which aligns with Sun Splash’s goal of supporting local families. Pairing the drive with discounted admission creates a simple, meaningful exchange: bring in school supplies and enjoy a discounted $10 ticket at the park.”
