Date change: Paul Sanborn Park Playground ribbon-cutting now set for July 31

The city of Cape Coral invites residents and community members to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the new Paul Sanborn Park playground.

The ceremony will take place on Friday, July 31, at 9 a.m. at Paul Sanborn Park, at 2310 S.E. 3rd St.

The event is open to the public, and no reservation is required to attend.

“The Paul Sanborn Park playground is designed to provide a safe, engaging, and inclusive recreational space for children and families, further enhancing the City’s commitment to quality parks and community amenities,” city officials said in a release.

City officials will participate in the ribbon cutting, and attendees are encouraged to join in celebrating this new addition to Cape Coral’s parks system.
