For the first time in more than a decade, The Breeze is bringing back a special publication geared towards highlighting what’s to come in one of the fastest-growing cities and regions in America.

“Progress ’26,” which shines an economic development spotlight around Southwest Florida, is back in the hands of readers this weekend.

Copies of the Progress edition, which is returning for the first time since 2012, will be delivered with select copies of The Breeze and are available at single-copy locations in Cape Coral, Sanibel/Captiva, Fort Myers Beach, Pine Island and North Fort Myers, as well as at The Breeze office at 2510 Del Prado Blvd. S.

“Economic development is such a ‘front and center’ issue in Southwest Florida that it makes sense to supplement our ongoing news coverage of development issues with an annual snapshot that takes a wider view of what’s changing, when and why,” said Breeze Newspapers Publisher Ray Eckenrode.

The special section highlights major updates in the sectors of education, real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, and tourism.

Those interested can also read the Progress ’26 online by visiting the “E-Edition” link on all Breeze Newspapers websites.
