‘Cinco de Drinko’ set for Saturday in the South Cape
SCHEA-sponsored event offers participants a taste of the city’s entertainment district
A fiesta will take place in the South Cape this weekend, where attendees can find tasty bites and delicious drinks paying homage to Mexican heritage.
The third annual “Cinco de Drinko,” put on by the South Cape Hospitality and Entertainment Association takes place this Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m.
This Cinco de Mayo-themed pub crawl offers festive drink and appetizer samples in the Cape’s entertainment district at various participating locations.
“Cinco de Drinko turns flavors people already love into a full experience,” said SCHEA owner David Delli Paoli. “You’re not just going to one place, you’re exploring multiple stops, each with its own creative twist. And every ticket supports families in need through the Santa Life Foundation, so it’s fun with a purpose.”
Limo buses will be available to take crawlers to four designated areas, where they can walk to the 13 participating locations.
A ticket includes a wristband for event access and transportation, a passport of locations, a drink and appetizer sample at each establishment, entry into the photo booth contest and access to the official photo booth at Dolphin Key Resort.
Those that get their passport stamped at each location will be entered into the grand prize drawing.
Guests are also encouraged to dress festively for the photo booth contest. The wining photo will receive four tickets to SCHEA’s South Cape Red, White, and Booze Pub Crawl on June 27.
“It completely changes the energy,” Delli Paoli said of attendees dressing up. “When people show up ready to celebrate, they create a lively, social atmosphere that makes the whole event feel like one big party.”
Delli Paoli said it’s always fun to see what each establishment concocts to fit the theme.
“It’s one of the highlights,” he said. “Each spot brings its own personality, from traditional flavors to really unexpected creations. It turns the crawl into a tasting adventure.”
Participating locations and their samples include:
• Dolphin Key Tiki Hut – Jalapeno Margarita / Churro
• The Dive – Paloma Fizz Drink / Tres Leches Cake
• Cruisers – Mango Lime Margarita / Mini Chicken Tacos

Delli Paoli added that these pub crawl events are a great way for attendees to experience not just a great night out, but maybe find a new favorite spot.
“It’s a great way to explore the local scene in one night,” he said. “People often find a new favorite place, which brings real attention and foot traffic to local businesses.”
