An annual event filled with live entertainment, good eats, and a myriad of selections from breweries across the Sunshine State takes place this weekend in Cape Coral.

The fourth annual Brew Fest at Cultural Park is set for April 18 from 1 to 5 p.m., and is put on by the Cape Coral Museum of History in partnership with JJ Taylor Distributing. Attendees can sample beers, seltzers, ciders and more from participating breweries as many times as they wish, taste treats from various food trucks, shop local vendor booths, and music.

“Brew Fest at Cultural Park is the main fundraiser for the museum,” said Janel Trull, Cape Coral Museum of History executive director. “This is our fourth year putting it on and it is a great opportunity for the community to come out and enjoy a wonderful afternoon in support of the museum.”

The following are the participating breweries at the event: Fort Myers Brewing, Palm City Brewing, Dog Fish Head Brewing, Magnanimous Brewing, Walking Tree Brewery, Tank Brewing, Cigar City Brewing, New Belgium/Bells Brewing, Sierra Nevada Brewing, Lagunitas Brewing,

There will also be three seltzer brands, including Carbliss, Suncruiser, and White Claw.

Additional tastes include Sangria and Prosecco, and THC brand High Rise.

Trull said each company is looking to have two to four beverage options, making a $35 ticket well worth the price.

“Brew Fest gives each ticket holder over 45 different options to choose from including beer, wine, seltzers and more,” Trull said. “Ticket holders can sample as much as they want of each beverage that is offered.”

For $65, guests can sample all they want, have a dedicated seat under the VIP tent, get 10 free axe throws with Chuck It Axes and enjoy a barbecue dinner and dessert.

The event’s vendor village will feature craft vendors, local businesses, and food vendors.  The vendor village and entertainment are available to the general public without purchasing tickets. Tastings are only available to ticket holders (21+, ID checked at entry gate).

General admission tickets are $35 each and includes a tasting cup.

General admission tickets will be available at the gate on the day of the event. All proceeds benefit the museum, its mission, and programming.

“As the main fundraiser for the museum, Brew Fest proceeds help the museum fulfill its mission to educate and engage through historic preservation, storytelling and outreach,” Trull said.
