Jaycee Park Community Survey now available

Those who are unable to attend the Jaycee Park Community Forum on from 2-6 p.m. Thursday at Mercola Market, can provide feedback online.

The city has created a survey for feedback on the proposed Jaycee Park designs.

Questions as participants to select from one of two concepts for splash pad designs, dog cooling stations, trail markers,pathway lights; among four concepts for bistro design; six cuisine types for food trucks; four game types; six native tree species; six “signature” tree species and six types of shade structures.

The survey also allows participants open space to respond to “Please provide constructive feedback on the current proposed designs.”

The survey will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8.

Proposed improvements to Jaycee Park, 4215 SE 20 Place, include a boat dock with finger piers, a splash pad, additional walking paths in the park and along the shoreline, and a food truck court, among other items.
