3 indicted in Dunkin’ Donuts murders
FORT LAUDERDALE (AP) – A Broward County grand jury has formally charged three suspects in a string of violent robberies at Dunkin’ Donuts stores with murder.
On Wednesday, 19-year-old James Herard and 20-year-old Tharod Bell were indicted for murder in the fatal shooting of a man at a Tamarac Dunkin’ Donuts on Thanksgiving. Herard, Bell and a third suspect, 18-year-old Charles Faustin, also were indicted for murder in a Nov. 14 shooting death in Lauderhill.
Prosecutors say it’s too early to tell if they will seek the death penalty.
The suspects have all been in jail since early December.
