Comedian Rivera to take theatre’s stage
Cape Coral Comedy Night will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Cultural Park Theatre in Cape Coral.
Laffs2Go will bring an evening of live stand-up comedy with headliner and longtime teacher Mike Rivera. He will be joined by comedian Johnny C for a night of laughs.
Rivera won the title of “America’s Most Hilarious Teacher” on ABC’s “The View.” A father, teacher and veteran stand-up performer, he has appeared on HBO and Showtime and he has performed on comedy stages around the world. Rivera’s classroom experience and decades in comedy give him a distinctive perspective on everyday life.
Tickets are $20 per person.
In addition, the theatre welcomes optional donations for the Cape Coral Caring Center (dry food), Cape Coral Animal Shelter (pet food, toys and blankets), and Oma’s Heart (toys for children of all ages).
