Richard Metzger director, and Carol Culliton, founder/owner, welcome volunteers of the Collier-Lee Honor Flights at the monthly veterans luncheon held at the Brotherhood of Heroes luncheon on Aug. 27. Representing the Honor Flights were volunteers Dr. Stephen Wener, Maria McDonald, and Steve Romaine. Wener spoke to the more than 60 veterans present about Honor Flights and Honor@Home Missions. The next flight to DC from RSW will be Oct. 10. The public is encouraged to attend the Welcome Home Parade that evening. The Brotherhood is sponsoring the flight honoring more than 80 veteran heroes.

The Brotherhood of Heroes luncheon on Aug. 27 featured Dr. Stephen Wener of the VA who also is a volunteer of the Collier-Lee Honor Flights.
More than 60 veterans attended, including several who are over 100 years old.
The BOH at 4522 Del Prado S., Cape Coral, is an informative resource center for veterans, and special military museum.
Dr. Carol Culliton, the founder/owner of the Brotherhood of Heroes, is the sponsor of the next Honor Flight to Washington D.C. to take place on Saturday, Oct. 10.
