Lee County’s Royal Palm Park in Tice closes temporarily for fishing pier restoration
Royal Palm Park in Tice is closed temporarily as work gets underway to restore the fishing pier on the Caloosahatchee that was destroyed by Hurricane Ian.
The park, located at 300 Royal Palm Parkway, will be used by the project contractor for staging and construction for the project, which is being funded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Relief and the Florida Department of Emergency Management Legislative Appropriations Program Funds.
The work is expected to be complete, weather permitting, by November.
