Sponsorship opportunities filling fast for Keep Lee County Beautiful’s ‘GO GREEN’ Golf Tournament

Community support still needed through prize and auction donations

Keep Lee County Beautiful, Inc. (KLCB) is excited to announce that sponsorship opportunities for the 34th Annual Rudy Busch “GO GREEN” Golf Fundraiser presented by Nextran are filling quickly. The tournament will take place on Friday, Oct. 23, at The Club at Gateway in Fort Myers, bringing together local businesses, community leaders, and environmental supporters for a day of golf benefiting Lee County’s environment.

With many sponsorship levels already committed, businesses are encouraged to secure one of the remaining opportunities while they are still available. KLCB is also seeking prize donations, silent auction items, gift cards, experiences, and merchandise to help make this year’s tournament a success.

Proceeds from the annual fundraiser directly support Keep Lee County Beautiful’s year-round environmental programs, including community cleanups, beautification projects, tree plantings, and environmental education initiatives. In the past year alone, KLCB volunteers removed more than 28,000 pounds of litter and debris, planted 300 trees and 1,225 mangroves, and engaged more than 25,400 individuals through environmental education. This year, the organization has already collected more than 10,900 pounds of litter, planted 350 trees and shrubs, and supported the removal of 51,847 pounds of litter through the City of Cape Coral’s cleanup efforts.

“Our “GO GREEN” Golf Tournament is more than a day on the course.
