The OMH Mahjong Social to be held July 19
Community members will gather Sunday, July 19, for The OMH Mahjong Social, a stylish morning of mahjong, connection, and philanthropy benefiting Our Mother’s Home of Southwest Florida.
Held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Vybe in Fort Myers, the event will feature mahjong play, light bites and a cash bar in an intimate setting designed to bring together approximately 50 guests in support of a meaningful cause.
With the tagline “Play with Purpose,” The Mahjong Social offers both seasoned players and those curious to learn the opportunity to enjoy one of the nation’s fastest-growing social pastimes while helping young mothers and their children build brighter futures.
“A seat at the table can change everything,” serves as the event’s guiding message, reflecting both the spirit of the event and the mission of Our Mother’s Home.
Founded in 2000, Our Mother’s Home of Southwest Florida is the only organization of its kind in the region dedicated to empowering young mothers involved in the foster care and human trafficking systems to break the generational cycle for themselves and their children. Through its Mentored Living Program, residents receive housing, educational support, parenting instruction, life skills training, counseling, and the resources needed to achieve long-term independence.

Designed to be an elevated and welcoming experience, The Mahjong Social will bring together approximately 50 guests for a relaxed morning of mahjong, connection, and community. With its intimate setting and unique blend of fun and philanthropy, the event is expected to become a signature fundraiser for Our Mother’s Home of Southwest Florida.
