Florida SouthWestern State College is helping high school students explore future career pathways this summer through hands-on camps focused on artificial intelligence, drones, health care, video game design and other emerging industries.

Running July 13-31, the camps are designed to introduce students to in-demand fields while building practical, career-focused skills through instruction led by FSW faculty experts. In addition to exploring emerging technologies and industries, students can strengthen skills in SAT preparation, college applications, social media and personal branding.

“Students who attend our camps will strengthen problem-solving skills and be encouraged to think creatively and innovatively,” said Adam Davis, professor of entrepreneurship. “Through hands-on experiences, students will learn how to develop ideas, test concepts and build skills that support future academic and career success.”

Camps will be offered on FSW’s Lee, Charlotte and Collier campuses, with availability varying by location and space limited.

Camp sessions will be offered on the following schedule:

• Lee Campus: July 13-17, July 20-24 and July 27-31

• Charlotte Campus: July 20-24

• Collier Campus: July 27-31

Students may enroll for one, two or three weeks. Half-day camps are $199 per week, while full-day camps are $398 per week. A limited number of full scholarships are available.

Additional information and registration details are available at fsw.edu.
