Space limitations make it possible to honor about 40 veterans each time.

The Brotherhood of Heroes is home to the Lee County Sheriffs Department’s Cape Coral Outreach Center, and is the location for regular food distributions in collaboration with the Gunterberg Foundation and Midwest Foodbank.

The Brotherhood of Heroes Resource Center serves as the headquarters and meeting place for the Cape Coral Chapter of Disabled American Veterans, Korean War Vets, Military Order of the Purple Heart, the Marine League, American Merchant Marine Veterans, Destroyer Escort Sailors Association, Combat Infantrymen’s Association, and the Cape Coral chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, while enjoying partnerships with numerous community based organizations such as United Way, Mission United 211, and the AARP.

“The Brotherhood of Heroes Resource Center aims to be the go to location for anyone that needs help in Cape Coral,” its website states.
