Show title: Botanicals (plant life)

Submission date: Monday, May 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Gulf Coast Village, at 1333 Santa Barbara Blvd. S., in Cape Coral.

Show opens: Reception on Wednesday, May 13, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and show runs through June 29 – with retrieval of unsold works on June 29, between 1 and 4 p.m.

Fees and other requests: There is no fee for NFMAA members to submit their works – up to five pieces – dependent on dimensions. Please include a statement on your inspiration for your works and post it beside your works. Featured artists may submit up to 12 pieces.

* Dimensions of each piece

* How pieces should be hung (H = Horizontal or V = Vertical),

* Price or Not For Sale.

* Your inspiration statement.

For non-members, the fee is $25, with limit of three items. Full Membership is $35 with all the benefits of membership. Check out NFMAA on its website at nfmaa.org.

NFMAA’s Gulf Coast Gallery exhibits occur on a six-week rotation throughout the year.

Watercolor – Line & Wash Class with MBA Artist, Eloise Pennington

Wednesday, May 6, from 1 to 3 p.m. at THE ART HOUSE at 120 SE 13th St. in Cape Coral on the grounds of the Gulf Coast Village campus at 1333 Santa Barbra Blvd. S., in Cape Coral.

Cost: $45.

Supplies needed: 5″x7″ watercolor pad, inexpensive watercolors set with at least eight colors (Prang is fine for this project), a few Micron fine tip pens of your color choice. NFMAA will provide paper towels and water bowls.
