A decades-long tradition that brings family fun to Lee County begins its three-weekend long festivities starting this Friday.

The Fair at Fenway South will celebrate its 11th year at JetBlue Park, bringing rides, live entertainment, and fair food favorites to Southwest Florida. The fair runs Fridays through Sundays Oct. 31-Nov. 2, Nov. 7-9, and Nov. 14-16.

“We launched the Fair in 2013 and only paused for two years due to the pandemic in 2020 and a hurricane in 2022,” said Brian Schuman, a 40-year veteran of world-class event production, owner of Fair Productions, and producer of the Fair at Fenway South, in a release. “We are thrilled to return for our 11th Fair at Fenway South with three weekends of fun for all ages.”

The 20-acre fairgrounds will be bustling with excitement, from the towering 100-foot Giant Ferris Wheel to more than 30 state fair-style amusement rides. Families will also find an expanded “Kiddieland” for youth, as well as classic games and prizes.

Families can expect a full lineup of entertainment, all included with admission.

This year’s featured acts include:

• The Magic of Lance Gifford – fair favorite whose award-winning magic, illusion and comedy delivers a Vegas-style spectacle right here in Southwest Florida.

• Wolves of the World – The nation’s only traveling wolf pack. This educational and dramatic show offers a rare chance to meet one of nature’s most awe-inspiring predators up close while learning about the vital role wolves play in the wild.

• Victoria Circus & Thrill Show – performers push the limits with highwire acts, the Globe of Death and circus artistry “that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats.”

• Rosaire’s Royal Racing Pigs – These speedy swine will have the whole family squealing with laughter as they race to the finish line in what has become one of the fair’s most beloved and “ham-azing” traditions.

• Cowtown USA & Giant Petting Corral – Kids (young and young-at-heart) interact with gentle farm animals, snap photo-worthy moments and even learn how to milk a cow.

“From the rush of the racing pigs to the wonder of magic and the awe of seeing wolves up close, this year’s fair delivers something for every age,” Schuman stated.

Fairgoers can also look forward to a lineup of delectable eats and fair classics that make the annual event a ride for the senses.

This year’s menu showcases the creativity and indulgence that fair food is famous for: giant turkey legs, deep-fried Twinkies and Oreos, loaded funnel cakes, milkshakes, churros, dulce de leche, pickle pizza, bacon-wrapped treats, and tropical-inspired sweets.

“The response from the community has been incredible,” Schuman stated. “Families tell us loud and clear that they love to make memories together at the fair — and that’s exactly what we’re delivering.”

The Fair at Fenway South also supports Southwest Florida nonprofits through its charity — the Jordan Schuman Foundation for Kindness, which provides grants, scholarships, and charitable support to individuals and organizations in need within the local community.
