Saint Hilary’s Helping Hands Ministry is looking for Reading or Math Volunteers

Saint Hilary’s Helping Hands Ministry is seeking reading and math volunteers for Orange River, Orangewood, Manatee and Villas elementary schools, in Fort Myers.
Volunteering just one hour a week can make a profound difference in a child’s confidence and academic success. No prior teaching experience is required — just a love of learning and a willingness to offer your time and encouragement. Whether you’re retired, a college student, or simply someone eager to give back, your support can help shape a brighter future for local students.
If you’re interested in joining this meaningful journey, consider the joy of watching a child’s eyes light up with understanding or the pride that comes as they master a new skill. Every session is an opportunity not only to teach, but to inspire and encourage. The bonds you form will extend beyond academics, nurturing resilience, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
To become a volunteer or to learn more, please reach out to Saint Hilary’s Episcopal church at 239-936-1000 Monday through Thursday. Together, we can empower the next generation — one story, one problem, one hour at a time.
