The Cape Coral Computer Club will hold its next meeting of the season from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, virtually via Zoom, with sign-in and social time beginning at 1:30 p.m.

The following topics will be discussed:

• Kim Komando Device Advice: The presentation will offer practical technology advice and recommendations inspired by well-known technology expert Kim Komando. Learn about devices, technology trends, helpful features and practical tips for making smarter use of technology.

• Email — Holding Down the Spam and Junk: Unwanted email remains one of the biggest frustrations for computer users. The program will demonstrate practical ways to reduce spam and junk mail, recognize suspicious messages, block unwanted senders, and better manage an inbox.

Guests and prospective members are welcome; RSVPs are required to receive the Zoom link.

The Cape Coral Computer Club meets from October through May on the first and third Wednesday of each month. The meetings are open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced computer and smartphone users. No advanced technology knowledge is required.

The club is a nonprofit organization providing technology education to members, regardless of location. The meetings are recorded so members who cannot attend do not have to miss a program.
