Community Night Market & Business Expo Aug. 27 at Southwest Florida Enterprise Center
A Community Night Market & Business Expo will be held Thursday, Aug. 27, from 5-10 p.m., at the Southwest Florida Enterprise Center at 3903 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., in Fort Myers.
Admission to the expo is free.
The event will feature over 25 vendors with professional headshots available along with interactive experiences.

Spiro Custom Pools receives 2026 International Award of Excellence bronze award
Spiro Custom Pools has been named the recipient of a 2026 International Award of Excellence from the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance, the trade association representing the swimming pool, hot tub and spa industry. Spiro Custom Pools won the bronze award for vanishing edge swimming pool project.
PHTA’s International Awards of Excellence program is one of the largest, most renowned design competitions in the pool and hot tub industry. These distinguished awards recognize exceptional installations of pools, spas, hot tubs and water features that showcase the most beautiful, creative, and innovative work in the industry. REIS to host discussion on ‘Water Quality & Watershed’ issues in Southwest Florida
Join REIS on Tuesday, September 8th for a discussion about “Water Quality & Watershed” issues with Dr. Rachel Rotz, associate professor and program coordinator from the Department of Marine & Earth Sciences, at FGCU Water School
The program will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, 9802 Pelican Preserve Blvd., Fort Myers. Tickets are $30 for members and $45 for non-members.

Rotz, Ph.D., is a hydrogeologist and her research focuses on groundwater systems, hydrologic modeling, remote sensing, GIS applications and water resource management. She leads collaborative research on critical water quality and watershed issues affecting Southwest Florida and has directed major federally and state-funded projects, including partnerships with NASA and regional environmental agencies.
